Belmont Country Club Homes For Sale
Belmont Country Club (Antique Forest Homes), is a big neighborhood and home to some of Belmont’s most important landmarks. These include the original Belle Monti Country Club, William Ralston’s mansion, Notre Dame de Namur University, Notre Dame High School and Oak Knoll Drive featuring a cluster of 40’s and 50’s homes with marvelous Bay views. The neighborhood contains many capsules from Belmont’s modern history.
Belmont Country Club (Antique Forest Homes) is bordered by San Mateo, Ralston Avenue, and Alameda de las Pulgas. It is one of the city’s most highly developed neighborhoods, yet offers a more secluded feel in comparison to the adjacent neighborhoods of Homeview and Carlmont.
The area’s streets are named after its original developers, Monroe, Miller and Lyon. There is a good mix of homes, with 40’s and 50’s blocks standing alongside blocks developed in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. There are also a handful of 20’s rustic cabins and hunting lodges.
