Community Center Homes For Sale & Real Estate

Here’s what you need to know when looking to buy Community Center homes in Palo Alto.

With Embarcadero Road passing both Walter Hays Elementary School and Rinconada Park at the edge of the Community Center neighborhood, many visitors get a glimpse of some of the attractions of this neighborhood but miss seeing what the neighborhood homes are like. Although surrounded by some of Palo Alto’s busier residential streets; Embarcadero, Middlefield, Channing, and University, most homes are located on less traveled streets providing a comfortable neighborhood feeling.

Besides the top rated elementary school and the park, the neighborhood also offers the Children’s Library, the Junior Museum, the Art Center, the Lucie Stern Community Center, and Palo Alto’s main library. Downtown Palo Alto is within walking range. The Rinconada Park and the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo are located right next to one another, right off of Embarcadero Road. They are great spots to hang out at with little children and can be used as venues for birthday parties. The Lucie Stern Community Center in the neighborhood hosts theatre and music shows year-round. Tree Walks organised by Canopy is a good way of getting to know the neighborhood.

Restaurants around Community Center Homes

The Community Center neighborhood is within a couple of miles from Downtown Palo Alto, with a host of award- winning restaurants, as well as affordable dining options of various cuisines.

Our staff favorites in this vicinity include: Coconuts Caribbean Restaurants & Bar,  La Morenita Restaurant (Mexican), Evvia (upscale Greek), Oren’s Hummus (Israeli) and Osteria Cucina Toscana (Italian).
